Beautifully restored to ship shape condition and in working order.  A 1950’s era Constellation type lifeboat/auxiliary compass.  Wilfrid O. White (1878-1955) was a native of Australia who studied with Lord Kelvin in Glasgow before settling in Boston in 1902 and establishing the firm of Kelvin & Wilfrid O. White in 1919. The firm became Wilfrid O. White & Sons, Inc. in 1950.  Measures 11.5 inches tall while sitting handsomely upon a solid slab of varnished oak.  The compass itself has a diameter of about 8 inches.  A glorious piece…  We ship worldwide Mateys…
