WWII Lifeboat Survival Compass

Categories: ,

This Amazing Nautical Treasure was produced by the famous toy train mfg company Lionel of New York for the United States Navy during WWII.  The company did its patriotic duty and suspended its toy train manufacturing during the war and instead built several wartime necessities including Lifeboat Survival Compasses. This navigation instrument is one of them.

Built of solid copper and brass the enclosed compass still works nicely and all metal parts including the helmet case have been polished and lacquer coated. Relic measures 8 3/4″ wide, 7.5″ deep, and 9 3/4″ tall. We pack and ship worldwide…
