This heart stopping oil on board painting of the Battle on the Mekong Delta of South Vietnam, by Richard DeRosset, was made possible by interviewing 43 different Veterans that were present on this day.  This historical tragedy has been immortalized by DeRosset’s skills as a master painter, his dedication to detail, and his mission to provide authenticity in the work he brings to life.  This collectable measures 41″ x 29″ framed. Artist Richard DeRosset is known for his depictions of maritime scenes which have been commissioned by numerous museums and private collections, notably, The San Diego Aerospace Museum, The Navy Combat Art Museum, and The Smithsonian Institution. He is also the official artist for the San Diego Maritime Museum.
